I purchased the Philips SCE4420/10 - Power4Life a few weeks ago Amazon delivered on time. I charged it full overnight then connected to Blackberry 9000 but it could not charge. After a few full re-charge cycles it still did not charge my Blackberry or iPhone 3GS. I returned the product as faulty and a new one was sent to me within 1-2 days which is impressive, well done. The replacement product however works poorly - it can only charge my BBRY or iPhone for 10% to 20% of their capacity which is poor given that it is rated as 2000mah which is larger than either device internal battery. I am now using the Kensington, LOGIC3 and they are far superior. Do not touch this Phillips.

This is a brilliant bit of kit!! It charges via USB or via a mains adapter which is included in some models. I liked it so much when i came across another one i bought it! Pretty much ANYTHING that charges via USB you can charge with this little box. Each charge is enough to charge an iPhone twice to about 75%. It comes with an adapter and selection of tips for mobiles (and one for the DS) but you can use you own USB charging cables which plug into it directly.
I've read soo many dodgy reviews about battery packs, but this one actually delivers! I've looked into charging it from a solar panel (e.g. the Freeloader Supercharger) and apparently it IS possible. I think (for the money of that particular product) it may be worth a try!
If you need a back up battery and have a USB charging cable? BUY BUY BUY!!!

I think this little box is amazing. The battery on my phone is unreliable at best and I travel around the country a lot. I have fully charged my phone 3 times from one charge with this little beauty. You simply plug it into your laptop/pc to fully charge it. That takes about 8-9 hours, the simple display on the front telling you when it's done. I've charged my phone, PSP and MP3 player from this. You can do most phones and even a Nintendo DS, iPhones and iPods are also compatible.
As it's a 5 volt output it's the same as plugging your device into the wall.
I could not recommend this more, I will be taking it to all of the festivals this year to ensure my phone is always fully charged.
