These have a bit of an unusual design. The area at the back, which fits around the ankle is soft (rather like the tongue), and going around the back of that is a plastic flap attached to the laces, so when you tie them up it tightens the plastic flap which pulls against the back of your foot. I ran for ten minutes in these and got blisters on the back of each foot, then couldn't run for a week.

I thought I'd take them to Nike Town to see if they could exchange them. They no longer exchange any Nike item, only things carried by their store. It seems these are a bit of a dud they have sold off to other retailers. Rather than go through the palarva of mail-order exchange I fixed them myself by fitting a piece of insole to the back with Super Glue.
