I liked this bag. It seems well made, and looks cool. It doesn't look like a laptop bag, which is one of the reasons I bought it - less of a target for thieves.
The reasons it doesn't get 5 stars are:
- Apart from the laptop section there isn't too much room in it (say if you wanted to use it for a weekend)despite its size
- the top carry handle isn't padded, and when the bag is fully loaded, this isn't very comfortable
Apart from that, its great.

I would have liked to leave a review of this laptop case but I have never recieved the item. I tried to buy it from a company called easylaptopshop who basically lied when they said that they had it in stock, refused to answer my emails, then tried to bribe me to remove the bad feedback i had left, then admitted they didn't have the item but could get it to me 5 days later (this is already 5 days after the delivery window) but that the item would be white. Imagine my disgust when I checked my feedback about easylaptopshop to discover that they had put a seller note on it to sad that they had replied but that it was probably in my junk mail and that my item was dispatched on time. I have complained to Amazon and Trading standards but be warned - easylaptopshop is a scam operation and Amazon have yet to stop them trading.

I have had a number of laptop bags including two from the (also very good) 'Crumpler' range. I bought the Akara K1 because I do alot of cycling and needed to change my Messenger style bag for a backpack. The Pakuma Akara K1 is an excellent and comfortable backpack and very very good value. I carry a large MacBook Pro 17" in this bag and cannot feel the weight at all. As well as various other bits and pieces and two bicycle locks. You can get the K3 which is larger but I felt the K1 to be a better size for what I needed. The Pakuma range protect your laptop within a special foam system and I definitely feel that my laptop is very safe within the bag. If you need a strong and comfortable backpack in which to carry around an expensive laptop the Akara K1 is highly recommended.
